Matthew Carden

Raised on a hearty diet of TV and movies, photography was a natural way to approach life and work. I grew up in Hollywood and lived in Spain for a bit. I Came back to live in San Francisco, then opened the first digital photo studio in the city. I Specialized in food photography and worked for an impressive list of clients, won awards, and became recognized for a unique "playful" style with subjects. I approach every subject with curiosity and a sense of humor juxtaposing food and common everyday items in unexpected ways to illustrate an idea, product, or story. Current projects includes books, exhibitions, limited edition prints, and commissions. My work is collected and published internationally
